With the holiday season just around the corner, if you get anxious just thinking about doing all the gift shopping – you’re not alone. This list is quite personal and unique as I only included products that I used myself or gifted to close friends or family.

Mermaid Tail Blanket

Mermaid Tail Blanket - Affordable Gift Idea

Imagine watching a favorite movie on a cozy night in. There’s something so romantic about that experience. Throw a Mermaid Tail Blanket on top of that and you’ve got the warmest and coziest night.

Mermaids and other Sea Creatures: Coloring Book

Mermaids and Other Sea Creatures: Coloring Book - Affordable Gift Idea

Coloring book for adults? Yes, please! These have been popular lately for a reason – it’s a great way to wind down after a long day and feel like a kid all over again. This particular coloring book would be a great addition to the Mermaid Tail Blanket. Here is a great colored pencil set that would go great with the coloring book.

Boar Bristle Hair Brush Set

Boar Bristle Hair Brush Set - Affordable Gift Idea

This is the best hair brush I have owned so far. I have long hair that gets easily tangled and this bush is simply magical. It detangles and brushes my hair effortlessly and painlessly. Additionally, boar bristle is the healthiest choice for your hair. This set is a great deal – you can keep one for yourself and use another one as a gift.

Your Guide to National Parks

Your Guide to National Parks Book - Affordable Gift Idea

This book is a great gift for your adventurous friend. It has great photographs, detailed maps, and hiking suggestions for every National Park. I didn’t have a chance to visit any of the parks since I purchased the book, but this is definitely on my to-do list.

DeLonghi Double-Walled Thermo Latte Glasses

Double-walled Latte Glasses - Affordable Gift Idea

I absolutely love these glasses. I have an espresso machine at home and I used these to make my favorite drink in the world – latte. My latte never looked so delicious and whimsical (you have to see it to understand) and I got so many compliments on the glasses. They are double-walled, which means that your drink will stay warm longer and you can hold them without the fear of getting burned. I can swear that latte even tastes better in these glasses, but I’m certain this is just my imagination.

Portable Battery Charger

Portable Battery Charger - Affordable Gift Idea

This is a perfect gift for anyone who has a cell phone – hence, anyone. It is great to take along when going on a trip. We took it on our multi-day getaways and it was enough to charge two phones the entire weekend. It was also a life-savior for me the first few months after our baby Liam was born. Spending many hours on a couch/chair/bed nursing the little guy left me with a dead battery on my phone. Having a portable charger was handy because I could still use my phone without anxiously looking for a charger and a comfortable place to nurse that was close enough to the outlet. And a huge plus – this charger gave me a full battery much quicker than through the outlet and would automatically shut down as soon as my phone reached 100% of battery. It also comes in rose gold, red, and black.

Weekly and Monthly Planner

2019 Weekly and Monthly Planner, Purple - Affordable Gift Idea

When it comes to planner, I am very very very particular (I didn’t want to say the a-word) about its layout and functionality. I tried using many types but always came back to the same format. The ideal layout for me is to have a single week stretched over two pages, with ruled blocks for each hour. This way, I have a good visual of my entire week. And yes, I do have a calendar on my phone but it’s not the same. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer physical planner over a digital one. Here is a black version if you’re looking for a more neutral planner.

Dead Sea Salt

Dead Sea Salt Set of 3 - Affordable Gift Idea

Dead sea salt has a pretty impressive list of health benefits that include healing, cleansing, hydrating, and relaxing powers. Just add a handful of it to a bath and soak in (literally) all the minerals. This Dead Sea Salt set of three is a great value – you can give two of them as gifts and keep one for yourself to add to your soaking bath at the end of the day.

Boot Slippers

Boot Slippers, Pink - Affordable Gift Idea

What’s better than slippers? Boot slippers! These are very cozy and comfortable. And if you have hardwood or tile floors, these are perfect because they have anti-skid soles. The seller also claims that they are machine-washable but I haven’t tried washing mine yet. It comes in different colors, including black and dark blue. Make sure to size up as I had to reorder in a larger size.

Faux Fur Throw Blanket

Faux Fur Throw Blanket - Affordable Gift Idea

This throw blanket is unbelievably soft. It adds warmth and cozy look to the home. And most importantly, no animals were hurt during the creation of this throw. It comes in many colors and sizes, so you will definitely find one that would fit your needs.
